Why I Write About the Hard Stuff
People often ask me why I write about trauma, abuse, and survival. It’s a fair question — after all, there are easier topics to tackle. But easy was never the point.
I write about the hard stuff because silence is what kept me trapped for years. I write because somewhere, right now, someone is living the same story and they need to know they’re not alone. I write because the world needs fewer polished narratives and more raw, honest truth.
My memoirs aren’t just my story — they’re a mirror. And sometimes, seeing your own reflection in someone else’s words is the first step toward freedom.
